Cable Recovery

Whether by hand or with the use of a rodding machine, we're able to prove planned routes prior to installation to discover whether the desired cable course is achievable. We're able to advise on alternative routes if the initial planned path is unachivable.

We use Tornado's and Airstreams which have been designed to provide a safe and effective method of installing cables ranging from 6-32mm (0.25-1.25″) into a pre-installed duct. The Tornado will install the cable at a speed of 90m/min (300 ft/min) to maximise job efficiency.

Fibre Splicing

Fibre splicing is the process of permanently joining two fibres together.  We use Fusion splicing machines to fuse (weld) the two fibers together by an electric arc. Fusion splicing provides the lowest insertion loss and virtually no back reflection.

Fusion splicing provides the most reliable joint between two fibers.
